Liu Rushi (AD 1618-1664) was a talented woman of the Ming Dynasty in Jiangsu Province. When she was a little girl because her family was poor she was sent to work in a whorehouse so she became a prostitute. She was good at both painting and calligraphy. She was absolutely beautiful so men around the world considered seeing her as a lucky thing. But she was very aloof and proud and she always worried about the whole world. She was very courageous and knowledgeable and was very affectionate and faithful. No ordinary girls could compare with her.
